For the first time in my life I am regretting not pursuing MBBS. I would have been damn good at it and definitely not treat my patients as inferiors.
It is important to become a doctor to get your diagnoses and treatment on time, especially if you are all by yourself and have no one to do the running around when need comes.
Ah the running from pillar to post in the summer month when you are struggling with low energy and migraines and vision issues…
Tests after tests after tests and nothing exactly conclusive…
The financial aspect – insane.
The time aspect – weird, unthinkable.
The stress of getting appointments, follow ups, tests and further tests far exceeds the stress of the possible medical condition.
And the indecisiveness – Should I continue draining my energy, time, health and finances in running from pillar to post or should I just continue to do the slogging???
Take care of your health people. Especially when you know you have to do it all by yourself.
If only I could have pursued MBBS at least I would have been taken seriously and would also have had the kind of money one needs to have rare conditions.
